Performance

Learn the foundations of music through the introduction of melodies and chords. You will learn how to use your voice to sing with fluency and to help with understanding how scales and melodies work with the music we listen to. Practising keyboard will also help with understanding chords and harmony as we know it!

Composing

Release your inner creativity by composing musical ideas from a given starting point. Analyse composing techniques that are used in famous songs to influence our ability to compose and arrange music.

Appraising

Develop your understanding of music through using the musical elements. Learn how to deconstruct music through different musical styles, genres, traditions, cultures and times.

Exciting Experiences

  • Work with others to compose music and play as part of an ensemble.
  • Perform music from many different styles individually and as part of an ensemble.
  • Arrange tutorials to learn a new instrument!
