Cynefin

Students will delve into the past in order to explore Wales’ journey into the Christian faith. They will explore the concept of values within the local and school communities, and as part of religious traditions. Students will learn what the census tells us about religion in Wales today. They will explore how Christianity has contributed to cynefin and reflect on the role religion plays in today’s society.

Stewardship

Students will explore the topic of Stewardship and Khalifa. Understanding the religious perspective of the impact of people on the environment. Students will discover how people from different religious backgrounds approach environmental issues and discuss potential impacts on the future of humanity.

Change

In the summer term, students will investigate Wales’ spiritual journey from a Christian country to becoming a multi-faith society. We will be exploring the major religious faiths which are now a part of Welsh identity and culture and appreciating how faith enriches communities. We will also be considering ways in which we can all contribute to improving community cohesion.
