Maze Game Project

Research

We start this DT project by ensuring we understand the key objectives and specification for the Maze game topic.
We shall then show our ability when researching and then creating the extended writing tasks on these two specific questions. What is a Maze and what is a Labyrinth?

Design

Pupils will then create their design ideas for Maze Game after understanding the design requirements through demonstration and analysis of existing products.
Another design task is to create two alternative design ideas for the packaging before we commit to the final box design created on the card nets provided.

Make

Create the maze design using Denford 2D Design (CAD) software, before it is manufactured on the milling machine (CAM).
Pupils with then create their final box that will contain the final product.

Exciting Experiences

  • The ability to design a product using CAD software.
  • Make the product using the Denford Milling machine (CAM).
  • Have a final product that you can take home.
