Time for Tea

Research

For this Year 8 project students will explore the range of products sold in tearooms. They will also research the different methods of decorating cup cakes and create a mood board.

Design

Part of the design process will be to create four original and creative design ideas for decorated cup cake. They will choose the best design and explain the reasons for choice with reference to skills, appeal and creativity.

Make

The practical making of dishes including fruit crumble, fruit smoothies, fruit salad, pasta salad, pizza, fruit cakes and quesadillas. They will complete the dishes demonstrating knowledge and practical making skills.
