Some of our Year 8 students who have been taking part in a pen pal project with a school in France – Collège La Nacelle, in Corbeil-Essonnes (just south of Paris) – have just received their second batch of letters from the students – they are really excited! So far students have been discussing their hobbies and interests and also sharing and comparing their school experiences in both Wales and France.
Some students have sent pens and pencils, hair clips and bracelets. Year 8 students from Darland have loved writing to their pen friends in France and are keen for it to continue next year. What a great experience for all involved and great to see the international connections that are being made by our wonderful students.
