Reading and Numeracy Personalised Assessments
All learners in Years 7 to 9 complete online personalised assessments in reading and numeracy in the Summer term. These assessments adapt to each child’s responses, giving us clear and up-to-date information about their strengths and the areas where they may need further support. The results provide a snapshot of your child’s skills against a national benchmark of pupils the same age.
The purpose of these assessments is to help us understand how your child is progressing and to plan their next steps in learning. They are not tests that pupils pass or fail; they form just one part of our ongoing picture of each learner’s development. We always use the assessment information alongside our own classroom observations to ensure we have a full and accurate understanding of your child’s progress.
