Our students and staff have arrived back from Switzerland in what has truly been the trip of the year!

The group enjoyed a packed programme of unforgettable experiences, beginning with a cruise on Lake Geneva and time exploring the beautiful city. They then ascended to 2048m on the Berneuse cable car, taking in spectacular mountain views, before visiting the Gruyère fromagerie and touring the museum at Maison Cailler, Switzerland’s oldest chocolate company.

Another highlight of the trip was the incredible cable car journey to the summit of the Aiguille du Midi, where pupils were able to see Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa and the Matterhorn. It was a breathtaking experience and one that will live long in the memory.

The final days were just as fantastic, with pupils spending time in Montreux, exploring the fascinating Bex Salt Mines and visiting the Olympic Museum in Lausanne. From underground tunnels and mine trains to Olympic history and lakeside sunshine, the trip offered a wonderful mix of geography, culture, history and adventure.

Our pupils were brilliant throughout and were a real credit to the school. A huge thank you goes to all the staff who gave their time, energy and care to make the trip possible and to help create memories that will last a lifetime. Check out the video below which shows the highlights of the trip!
