Year 6 Summer Transition Challenge is here!
As your child prepares to join Darland High School this September, we’re delighted to launch our Year 6 Summer Transition Challenge.
We’ve created a range of engaging activities across a variety of subjects to help pupils feel confident, excited and ready for the move to secondary school. The challenges provide a great opportunity to explore new ideas, practise key skills and get a flavour of learning at Darland.
Your child can complete as many of the activities as they wish over the summer.
Simply scan the QR codes to access each subject’s resources and challenges.
We encourage pupils to bring their completed work with them in September – we’d love to celebrate their efforts as they begin Year 7.
Whether your child enjoys solving problems, being creative, reading, designing, investigating or exploring the world around them, there’s something for everyone.
