The school’ Privacy Notice confirms that, for the purposes of issuing a Unique Learner Number, it shares personal information about year 10 pupils with the Department for Education’s Learning Records Service.   

A pupil’s Unique Learner Number links to all learning, wherever it is undertaken. It can be thought of as the educational equivalent of the National Insurance (NI) number.  This Privacy Notice summarises the information held by the Learning Records Service, why it is held and the third parties with whom the data may be shared.
